After the events in the previous part of the cartoon "Open Season 2" grizzly bear Boog is planning an annual hunting trip with his forest friends. But they all have an obligation to their families, so the Bug to travel alone, which eventually leads him to the circus. Here he meets up with wily grizzly Elisteyrom who dreams of escaping from the circus, and he persuades the Bug to swap places with him. Bug agrees, but soon realizes that much haste - circus troupe members use the Bug, causing him pain and humiliation. When his friends learn that he was in trouble, they go to a rescue mission. A Bug at this time meets his love in the face of a charming Russian bear.
